Mantel Holland and Mosselman Holland strengthen their market positions by joining forces

In June 2016, the flower bulb trading companies Mantel Holland from Venhuizen and Mosselman Holland from Enkhuizen will join together as one company.  This merger will strengthen their already leading positions in the flower bulb and perennial industry within the retail trade. Both companies will maintain their familiar names of Mantel Holland and Mosselman Holland.

The companies have a history of working together. After a recent period of intense cooperation, the management of both companies decided to join forces. Together, the new company will enhance their presence across the market regions, enabling them to respond more effectively to developments within the bulb industry.

Both companies combined, have more than 125 years of experience in the sale of pre-packed flower bulbs and perennials to professional retail organizations. Natasja Mantel, responsible for Sales and Marketing in the merged organization, looks forward to the future. “The merger of the companies gives us the opportunity to invest in development, not only for the product ranges and operations in the company, but especially for the commercial activities. To further our prominent position and experience in organic flower bulbs and perennials.”

Mosselman Holland will move its operations to the location of Mantel Holland in Venhuizen. “In Venhuizen, we have access to a wide range and up-to-date facilities. Additionally, the ERP system of Mantel Holland offers many advantages. The merged company has several accreditations including the Quality Mark Foundation Flower bulbs Holland, NEN-EN-ISO 9001, MPS Florimark (GTP and Tradecert), SKAL and BIO Suisse. This assures our clients that they are dealing with a well-organized and innovative partner” according to Ralph Koopman, CEO of Mantel & Mosselman Holland.
